CGS Ready to Showcase Innovative Packaging Solutions, Consulting Expertise and Market Leadership at Booth 5280

(January 9, 2018) – This year’s WestPack 2018, taking place February 6 – 8 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, promises to be the largest yet with record-breaking attendance in 2017. CGS will be exhibiting at Hall A Booth 5280, highlighting its tools and all-in-one solutions, specifically ORIS CxF Toolbox, iC3D and 2017 InterTech recipient ORIS Flex Pack // Web Visualizer.

“Integrating CGS’ product trio ORIS CxF Toolbox, iC3D, and ORIS Flex Pack // Web Visualizer into your workflow will ensure effective color communication between all members of the supply chain while bringing your brands to life from 3D mockup to final print,” explains Western Regional Manager Lewis Lau who will be in attendance. The system includes updated and integrated versions of several key technologies, including:

  • ORIS CxF Toolbox – communicates every facet of a brand color along the entire supply chain by using ISO-standard CxF spectral data to control brand spot colors.
  • iC3D – with latest 5.0 release, packaging designers and production professionals can achieve an unprecedented level of control over the shape and form of their 3D packaging design.
  • ORIS Flex Pack // Web Visualizer – 2017 InterTech Award recipient ensures fast, easy and cost-effective production of high-quality proofs or mock-ups for packaging, flexibles and label design.

The latest release of iC3D pairs perfectly with the latest expanded capabilities of ORIS Flex Pack // Web Visualizer. With the ORIS Varnish & Emboss Option as well as the ORIS Cold Foil Solution, users are able to simulate high-end packaging with precise finishing effects. This provides brands with an actual physical mockup of their package and increases the effectiveness of their packaging before ever going to print.

Together with ORIS CxF Toolbox and iC3D, ORIS Flex Pack // Web Visualizer is part of a combined flexible packaging solution from CGS. Demonstrations of the award-winning trio will aim to exhibit their ability to bring packaging to life.

“CGS has offered top-of-the line color management solutions and workflow tools for over 30 years, making it a dependable partner to all areas of the printing industry. With leading market presence in brand color management, packaging proofing and 3D prototyping, CGS has solidified its place as a world leader in packaging innovations. Our constant innovations provide users immediate access to the latest features in this highly dynamic environment. Additionally, CGS provides a number of professional color consulting services to help customers create the right workflow for their facility,” concludes Lau.
