Hainburg, (December 11, 2007) – Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association and CGS Publishing Technologies International, the global leader in color management solutions, digital proofing systems and specially-formulated media for the graphic arts market, announced they will work together to provide industry standards and certification training for ORIS technicians and dealers. The two-day sessions will enable participants to evaluate and create standard conform proofs and install the ORIS Color Tuner proofing product under FograCert conditions. The Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association of Germany supports printing technology in the fields of research, development and application. The focus of the training program is to equip technicians and dealers with knowledge of the complete proofing system consisting of ORIS Color Tuner, CGS paper and printing device. During the training session, the proofing system will be installed and calibrated. Proofs can then be printed according to FograCert conform tolerances. The course will also consist of lectures on standardization, trends and relevant industry developments.
In November 2007, all CGS technicians passed this course and received their personal FograCert. Seminars for national and international dealers will take place in the coming months.
