Hainburg, (March 7, 2008) – Fogra Forschungsgesellschaft Druck e.V. has certified CGS Publishing Technologies International dealers for the production and judging of Fogra standard proofs and for the installation of ORIS Color Tuner systems to the Fogra standard.
Several two-day courses were held in Hainburg in February and March where Fogra colour experts trained the participants to set up and calibrate the ORIS Proofing System, comprising ORIS Color Tuner, ORIS Certified Proof and ORISProof media, to Fogra standard conditions. Also included in the courses was advanced training on industry standards and Fogra research programmes.
„The popularity of these courses with our dealers shows the importance of Fogra standards not just in the German market but throughout the world“, explained Bernd Rückert, CGS Product Manager. „On successful completion of the course and with the final test certificate in hand, each participant is able to provide comprehensive color management support, both theory and practice, to all of their customers.“
All of CGS Applications Support Specialists were trained and received their certification at the end of last year. Further courses are planned for all of CGS’ national and international dealers and distributors in the coming months.
