Question: If ORIS proofing is so great, why do I need another product to certify my proofs?
Even the best systems are subject to human error. ORIS Certified Proof provides non-subjective quality control - making sure each proof meets your standards.
Question: I don't have color experts at every location. How can I be sure my people will check the proofs correctly?
Certified Proof can be used by anyone, regardless of their color knowledge. The user simply uses the handheld scanner to measure a strip on each proof. The software automatically checks it for compliance and prints a label.
Question: Does Certified Proof work only with ORIS Color Tuner?
No. ORIS Certified Proof will work with any proofing system that can print a test strip on the proof sheet.
Question: Will your product measure compliance with SWOP or FOGRA?
Yes. The color characteristics for both SWOP and FOGRA are included with ORIS Certified Proof.
Question: What if I want to apply a different quality standard?
Certified Proof is not limited to SWOP or FOGRA. You can set it to check proofs for compliance with any color specification.
Question: What if I already have a spectrophotometer?
You can buy a software only version, if you wish. ORIS Certified Proof will work with your existing GretagMacbeth Eye-One or X-Rite DTP-series device.
